Villa Chapeau Rouge
A bespoke interior design, balancing space, light and harmony
For this villa, the owners wanted a completely bespoke interior design project, capable of revealing the full potential of their home. Their aim was to create unique layouts, perfectly integrated with the existing architecture, while showcasing their taste for fine materials and clean lines. Custom kitchens, bathroom vanities, dressing rooms, libraries, and the entrance area were conceived as a cohesive whole, guided by a shared pursuit of elegance and visual continuity.
The villa already boasted generous proportions and abundant natural light. Our mission was to enhance these qualities while adding a truly distinctive aesthetic signature. This project was led by our interior designer, Stéphanie Kasel, in close collaboration with the owners, to create an interior that reflected their desires and lifestyle.

Our ambition for Villa Alix was to design bespoke layouts capable of unifying the entire house around a common aesthetic language. Each space had to interact with the next, in a subtle balance between functionality, refinement, and timelessness.
We paid particular attention to the choice of materials, finishes, and colors to create true visual continuity. Very quickly, wood emerged as the guiding principle of the project. A carefully selected species was used throughout the first floor, bringing warmth, elegance, and character to the villa.
All the joinery was then custom-made by our Italian craftsmen, in partnership with ICS Pasut, renowned for the quality of their work and their precision of execution. After the owners approved the various designs, materials, and finishes, each element was crafted with the utmost care to bring this overall vision to life.
Today, Villa Alix boasts perfectly harmonized spaces, where each feature contributes to a strong and timeless identity. The kitchen, bathrooms, libraries, dressing rooms, and various custom-made fittings combine to create a fluid, elegant, and profoundly coherent whole. Wood, the true signature of the project, brings warmth and authenticity to each room. Subtly used in the furniture, decorative screens, and various joinery elements, it reflects the owners’ taste for natural materials and exceptional finishes. Villa Alix fully embodies the philosophy of Emilie Romano at Home: to design bespoke interiors where architecture, craftsmanship, and decoration unite to create unique and deeply personal living spaces. This is a project of which we are particularly proud and which reflects our attention to detail, our creativity, and our passion for exceptional projects.
